Hand Sensor: One hand wave brings light, and it stays lit until you wave again. Like a regular switch – even with messy hands!

Motion Sensor: Lights up the instant it is detecting movement within 66ft (20m); when no motion is picked up, it will gently dim after the duration you have set.

We listened to the feedback about the battery life of other products. Here is how we address those concerns with our new Smart+ Everywhere Light:

1. We increased the battery capacity.

Other models topped out at around 800mAh (and plenty of those figures were falsely labeled). Our lights start at a minimum of 2250mAh even in the shortest length, and the capacity grows with the length, up to 4500mAh on the longest option — which means the usage time is at least three times longer than typical products.

2. We make every bit of power more effective.

In the past, motion sensor lights could only be woken up by human motion detection, which caused a lot of false triggers and wasted battery. With an already limited battery, those false triggers cut the usage time badly.

Firstly, we introduced three different sensor types: Motion Sensor, Hand Sensor and Door Sensor. Pick the one that suits your situation to trigger the light, reducing false activations and saving battery.

Secondly, each sensor has both a different trigger and a different way of working, which squeezes the most out of the battery. The Motion Sensor, for example, switches on when someone comes close and off when they leave — ideal for hallways, staircases and nighttime bathroom trips. The Hand Sensor stays on after a hand gesture until another gesture turns it off, perfect where light has to last, like kitchens and display cabinets. The Door Sensor lights up when a door opens and goes off when it closes, which suits closets and storage cabinets.

Thirdly, separating the sensor from the light itself freed up space for more features. Beyond the usual brightness and color temperature adjustments, the Hand Sensor now includes a timer function, and the Motion Sensor allows adjusting the sensing mode and the duration of the light when triggered. Our past products simply couldn't offer that.

We tried linking over a hundred lights and they still worked fine. That was lab testing only, though — we don't recommend using it that way normally.

Yes. Connect your lights together and power them with just one USB cable. You're free to charge them in that linked way or leave them plugged into the power source for continuous illumination.

For the best charging performance on each light, it's better not to connect more than 5 x 10"/25cm lights or 4 x 15"/37cm lights, or 3 x 19"/49cm lights.

Each light can only be paired with one sensor at a time. Choose between a Door Sensor, a Hand Sensor or a Motion Sensor — whichever fits your needs best. To swap the sensor later, you'll have to disconnect the previous sensor and start a new pairing.

Absolutely! These lights hold securely with magnets. Here's a simple guide so they stick well:

First, clean the surface where the light will go with a cloth.

Then stick the metal plates onto the marked areas on the back of the light. Press them against the surface and hold for a few seconds.

Take the light off, press the metal plates down again for a few seconds, and wait for 2 hours before putting the light back on.

That's how you get a strong and reliable hold!
