Smart+ Pro COB Lightstrip & Sensors

Setup, Pairing & Sensor Tips

1. Customize Your Lightstrip Length

Trim it shorter. Add length when you need it. Keep it neat and even.

Option A

Cut for Shorter

To make your lightstrip shorter, find the labeled cuttable positions, which repeat every 1.2" (3 cm). With a pair of scissors, cut carefully along one of those marked lines.

Cut only on the marked lines.

Option B

Extend for Longer

To make your lightstrip longer, just plug the head of the extension (sold separately) into the end of the strip you already have. It takes seconds and no effort.

Pro Tip: For best results, keep the overall length within 32.8 ft (10 m). Past that, you may see a small brightness difference between the beginning and the end of the strip.

2. How to Install

Just 4 steps. Tidy setup, firm hold.

Step 1

Choose Your Clip Type

Choose the option that suits your wall surface.

Nano Adhesive Clip
Ideal for flat, smooth surfaces (tile, glass, metal, painted walls).
Note: pulling the tape off may lift paint.
Drill Clip
Ideal for textured surfaces, or when you want an extra secure install.
Tip: use anchors when you're drilling into drywall.

Step 2

Mark the Clips

Measure the strip and mark the spots where the clips will go. Keep the spacing even — roughly 9.8" (25 cm) between them.

Recommended clip spacing: 9.8 inches / 25 cm
This keeps the strip level and stops it from sagging.
Pro Tip
Place the nano stickers (included) between the clips so the lightstrip sits flat against the wall.
Step 3

Install the Clips

Pick your install method below — then snap the strip into place.

Nano Adhesive
Clean the surface, press the clips on, then wait 2 hours.
Drill
Drill the holes and screw the clips in place.
Then push the strip into the clips — you should hear a click once it's secure.
Step 4

Connect to Power

Attach the strip to the controller, then plug the controller into power. As soon as it lights up, you're ready to set your scene.

Tip: if you're extending strips, make sure every connector is pushed all the way in (no gaps).

Step 2

Pair it to the Smart+ Sensor

  1. With the lightstrip still flashing, press and hold the “Match / Modes” button on the Smart+ Sensor (sold separately).
  2. The lightstrip will slowly flash once and then fade off — that means it's paired.
Range: works best within 66 ft / 20 m. A single sensor can pair with several lights — but each light can only be linked to one sensor at a time.
Pro Tip: once every light is paired, fine-tune color temperature and brightness across them so everything works together smoothly.
