Smart+ Halo Lux & Sensors

Setup, Pairing & Sensor Tips

1. How to Install

Choose your setup below. Straightforward steps, nothing to guess.

Choose your mount

Option A: Nano Tape (No tools)

Ideal for smooth, flat surfaces — tile, glass, metal and painted walls.

  1. 1Wipe the wall dry (no dust, no grease).
  2. 2Place the mount and press firmly for 30 seconds.
  3. 3Let it set for 2 hours.
  4. 4Clip Halo Lux onto the mount.
Note: pulling the tape off can lift paint.

Option B: Drill + Screws (Most secure)

Pick this one for textured / uneven surfaces.

If the wall feels rough, dusty or chalky, go with drill + screws for a firm hold.

2. How to Use

Power On/Off

Tap to switch your light on or off.

Color Temperature

Hold the button down and let go once it reaches the warmth or coolness you want.

Hold the button down and release once it reaches the brightness you prefer.

Switch Modes

Tap once to cycle through Focus Light, Ambient Light, or both at the same time.

Pro Tip 1
Customize Each Light
Select Focus or Ambient first, then fine-tune the settings for that light.
Pro Tip 2
Sync Multiple Lights
One Smart+ Sensor can drive several Smart+ lights at the same time.

3. How to Pair with Smart+ Sensor

Just two quick steps to follow.

Step 1

Put the light in pairing mode

  1. Turn the light upside down.
  2. Press & hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  3. Release once the light starts flashing.

Step 2

Pair it to the Smart+ Sensor

  1. On the Smart+ Sensor (sold separately), press and hold the Match/ Modes button.
  2. The light flashes once, then fades off — paired.
Pro Tip: With every light paired, match the color temperature and brightness across them so the whole set works together smoothly.
Range: Best results within 66 ft / 20 m. A single sensor can pair with several lights — but each light connects to only one sensor at a time.

5. How to Recharge the Sensors

Two indicators, a single cable. Here’s what each one is telling you.

FrontButton Indicator

The front dot lets you know when a recharge is due.
USB-C sideCharging Indicator
Sensor side view showing the USB-C port and charging indicator
The side dot reports charging status while it’s plugged in.
What you’ll see

Low Battery Alert

As the battery runs low, the front button indicator starts to blink orange.

Blinking orange = time to charge with a USB-C cable.
While charging

Charging Status

Solid red = charging in progress
Solid green = battery full

The charging indicator is that small light beside the USB-C port.

Tip: any standard USB-C charger does the job — phone charger, power bank or laptop port.
