It all began with a closet.
Every morning I was pulling out the wrong jeans. Navy or black? No way to tell. I'd carry them over to the window to check, and half the time I gave up and just wore whatever I was already holding.
Then my son arrived. Midnight feedings, diaper runs, all of it. One arm holding him, the other hand sliding along the wall, hoping not to kick something on the floor. Turning on the ceiling light isn't an option — do that and the whole house is up.
All I needed was a small light I could stick to the wall. One that switches on when I walk past and switches off after I leave. Nothing more.
Couldn't find one that actually worked.
