Pairing, Setup & Sensor Tips

1. How to Pair with Smart+ Sensor

Just follow these two quick steps.

Step 1

Put the light in pairing mode

  1. On the light, touch & hold the whole shaded area.
  2. Keep holding for 5–7 seconds until the light starts flashing.
Pro Tip: Use your thumb to cover the full shaded area — that gives you the most reliable pairing.
Not sure your finger is hitting the pairing spot? Take off the end cover and watch the small blue light inside.
Solid blue = you’re on the pairing button/area correctly
Blinking blue = the light is now in pairing mode
Pairing more than one light? Set every light to pairing mode first, then pair them one at a time.

Step 2

Pair it to the Smart+ Sensor

  1. With the light still flashing, press and hold the Match/ Modes button on the Smart+ Sensor.
  2. The light will flash once and then fade off — paired.
Range: Best results within 33 ft / 10 m. A single sensor can pair with several lights — but each light can only be paired to one sensor at a time.
Pro Tip: After every light is paired, set the color temperature and brightness across them so everything works together smoothly.

2. How to Install

Easy steps. No drilling. No guesswork.

#1 Attach Magnets

Fit the metal plates onto the marked spots on the back of the light.

#2 Wipe & Position

Wipe the surface clean, then place the light(s) exactly where you want them.

#3 For a Stronger Adhesive

Remove the light, press the metal plates firmly for a few seconds, then leave them to set for 2 hours before putting the light back on.

Pro Tip: Connect Lights

Linking several lights? Take off the end cover on each end, then join one light to the next.

Point a hair dryer at the plate for 1 minute.

Once it’s warm, peel it off gently — it should release much more easily.
Warning: The metal plates can get hot. Protect your hands.

3. How to Use the Smart+ Sensors

Choose your sensor below, set the mode, then enjoy hands-free control.

Installation Tips
  • Keep the sensor and lights within 66 ft / 20 m.
  • Mount it 4 in / 10 cm+ above the floor (avoids signal drop).
  • Tilt the sensor head gently for the best detection.

4. How to Charge the Lights

Plug it in, check the indicator, and you’re good to go.

Charging diagram: remove cover, plug in USB-C, check indicator light.
Steps
  1. 1Remove the cover on the charging side.
  2. 2Insert the USB-C cable into the light’s charging port.
  3. 3The indicator lights up: red = charging, green = fully charged.
Pro Tips
You can link several lights together and charge them all at the same time.
For the quickest charging speed, connect no more than 4 lights at once.

5. How to Recharge the Sensors

Two indicators, one cable — here’s what each light means.

What you’ll see

Low Battery Alert

When the battery runs low, the front button indicator blinks orange.

Blinking orange = time to charge it with a USB-C cable.

Charging Status

Solid red = charging
Solid green = fully charged

The charging indicator is that small light next to the USB-C port.

Tip: Any standard USB-C charger will do (phone charger, power bank, laptop port).
